"It was my first time at Dr. Binita’s clinic, I wanted to get scaling done and I had the worst experience. I was given an appointment for 6pm for the same. I waited for 1 hour and 15 mins before I was called in by the doctor. The doctor initially sat with me as one of the scaling machines were busy and the other had some bulb issue and merely commented on my teeth and the basic good hygiene that should be maintained hinting that the real consultation would happen after scaling is done, where she would actually tell how to maintain this hygiene. She also spoke about how she didn’t feel like working today and there were multiple surgeries lined up. Later, 1.5 hrs in, she asked me to come again on Monday as the chair wasn’t free, while asking me to pay INR 1000 consultation. I was stunned because all she did was have a casual conversation about what leads to staining on teeth without telling the remedy. Having experienced this, I pointed it to her that I didn’t have a good experience after waiting for such a long time. This (image) is the result of the scaling she pulled off even though I was ready to leave after paying the INR 1000, also suddenly the light bulb on the chair started working. This is not how a doctor is expected to deal with a patient. This is what is bringing bad name to the doctors in India. Update: It’s been more than 3 hours and the bleeding has still not stopped."
